Ryan Price is a bassist, multi-instrumentalist, touring and session musician, composer, instructor, and live looping artist based in Santa Cruz, California. Known for his deep groove, dynamic stage presence, and genre-spanning versatility, he has spent more than 15 years performing at festivals, theaters, amphitheaters, clubs, and concert venues across the United States.

Throughout his career, Ryan has performed alongside acclaimed artists including Kishi Bashi, Tammi Brown, Sambada, Taylor Rae, and Lauren Monroe, as well as members of Tower of Power, Def Leppard, WAR, and The Doobie Brothers. He has also opened for and shared the stage with nationally recognized artists such as Third Eye Blind, Marcus King, Stanley Jordan, Tonic, Maren Morris, Gin Blossoms, Testament, Tommy Castro & The Painkillers, The Expendables, and many others.

As a highly sought-after touring and session musician, Ryan brings creativity, professionalism, and musical intuition to every project. Supporting songwriters in the studio, anchoring rhythm sections on stage, and crafting dynamic arrangements for live performance, he brings seasoned musicianship, versatility, and a commitment to musical authenticity to every collaboration.

In addition to his work with a diverse range of artists, Ryan creates immersive solo performances through live looping, layering bass, guitar, vocals, percussion, and other instruments in real time to build rich, engaging soundscapes that showcase his creativity, technical skill, and range as a performer.
